Maria first came into my life a year ago when I did a Reiki 1 weekend workshop with my daughter as a last minute cancellation. I thought at the time this is what I'm looking for, some type of spirituality in my life, I just so admire Maria this warm, caring woman with a great sense of humour who puts you at ease in a very comfortable and safe environment. I have since done a Past Life workshop, Women Nurturing Women workshop, Meditation classes and now Spiritual Development classes. Maria has taken me on a journey of self discovery and spiritual enlightment. I'm working on a few issues within myself and I know Maria has come into my life to teach me and show me how to embrace my higher self with unconditional love. I began Reiki sessions with Maria a few years ago, I had been experiencing anxiety and panic and wanted another method of handling my attacks without the use of medication. Since then I have joined Maria’s Meditation and Spiritual Development classes and also now hold Reiki I certification. I am now grateful for my experience with anxiety which I now leave in my past, as it led me to re awaken the side of me I always knew was there but didn’t know how to tap into. My Mastery Journey with our ‘ smiling eye’s Maria’
On the 15th March 2009 l was blessed by the Masters during my final attunement.
My journey took 13 months - the most amazing, powerful, enriching journey to me.
Maria held my hand, guiding me into the most profound experience which l will honour forever.
My journey helped me through the most confronting times in my work.
I was a cabin crew member of the Qantas QF30 explosive decompression into Manilla 25th July 2008. I have to smile when l think of it..as l had to call Maria to cancel our appointment for the following Monday, saying, ‘l’m in Manilla, sorry l cant make it to our meeting……..don’t know when l’ll be back - watch the TV news’ 
Mastery for me, was Mastering myself. Learning who l am; a part of me l knew was there but lost touch with.
I learnt the importance of respect, integrity, and honesty in using the sacred symbols for Reiki; as well as the integrity, respect for fellow students on this journey called LIFE.
So, if you are ready to take the ‘leap of faith’ into the inner core of who you are and have the honesty within yourself to allow the real YOU to come to the surface, this is the best journey you will ever experience.
Now that l am a Reiki Master/Teacher my new journey has just begun.
I will honour, respect, Reiki sacred teachings with integrity.

I feel truly blessed to have found such a wonderful and gentle Reiki Master Teacher in Maria Lacey.
The 12 month Journey has been the most rewarding and wonderful step I have ever taken for myself. Thank you so much for being my Reiki I, II and Masters Teacher, I find it hard to express myself sometimes and put my thoughts into words, but I would like to share my feelings of love and gratitude with you.
You are truly the most inspiring and unique person that has ever come into my life. I would like to honour and give thanks to you as my spiritual teacher and mentor, and above all as my dearest friend. Your wonderful smile, your never ending optimism, your encouragement and faith in me will be with me always.

I met Maria four years ago after I rang her to enquire about her Reiki Master courses. Although I had studied Reiki 1 and 2 with a different Master of whom I will always cherish, I decided to broaden horizons and explore what else was available. As soon as I spoke with Maria, I realized I had found the right person to guide me in my studies. On the phone she was professional, as well as being open and friendly. I looked forward to our meeting with excited anticipation. On meeting Maria, I instantly knew I was to embark on a very special journey.
For the following year, I had weekly meetings with Maria and came to know her not just as a teacher, but also as the wonderful person she is. Over the 12 months, we laughed, cried and shared our dreams and fears. I am blessed to also be able to call her my friend.

"I know Maria because I had a horse with a sore leg. In my search for alternate pain relief for my friend, I came to hear about Reiki and was amazed to be told I could learn to do it myself!
And so it began. I completed Reiki Level 1 with Maria and found a whole new world of possibilities opening up before me. Though I’d always been interested in the spiritual (New Age) world, I was really just skimming the edges. I also decided to attend a spiritual development (SD) workshop, and am currently enrolled in a weekly SD group.
